Absolute stellar Szechuan food. Every single dish we got blew us away. We will 100% be back.

Food was great. Good place to go for Chinese food. Ambience was normal, and service was okay. But the problem is that they have 2 menus- 1. Dine-in menu 2. Takeout menu and the pricing in either menu was different, takeout menu had a higher price and they had charged us based on takeout menu even though we dined in.

Everything was so delicious the fish was fresh ! Soup dumplings were divine and I got wonton with sesame sauce and it wasn’t too spicy but had a nice spice to it!! Would recommend to everyone and also come back !

Have come here multiple times with my friends. This is a family-run business and all people there are lovely. Food there is good, especially considering its wallet-friendly pricing. I would rate Chengdu 1 as my everyday go-to place for Chinese food in Jersey City (not saying it’s best in food quality, but instead best overall - price+quality).

Updated: Ordered a few deliveries recently and was surprised to find out some very interesting and tasty dishes! Like the angry pork feet and steamed pork ribs! Super satisfied! The flavor and portion is okay, but in the dry panned combo there are too much chicken and not as many kinds of meat/veggies. A bit disappointed!
